Tallies eighth homer
Soto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Mets.
Impact
Soto was the Nationals' lone source of offense as he took Edwin Diaz yard in the ninth inning to record his eighth homer of the season. He's gone yard in back-to-back games and has at least one hit in nine of his last 10 starts. Overall, Soto has delivered a .264/.395/.512 line with 23 runs scored and 11 RBI across 147 plate appearances on the season.

Belts seventh homer
Soto went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Wednesday's 8-3 win over the Mets.
Impact
The Nationals found themselves in a 3-0 hole after the top of the first inning, but Soto quickly got to work erasing the deficit by taking Tylor Megill deep in the bottom of the frame. The homer was Soto's seventh of the season but his first with any runners on base, and he has a stunningly low 10 RBI through 32 games to go along with his .256/.392/.479 slash line.

Smacks sixth homer
Soto went 2-for-3 with a home solo home run, a double, two walks and two runs scored Thursday against the Rockies.
Impact
Soto took Antonio Senzatela yard in the first inning to record his sixth home run of the season. After a relative lack of power early in the campaign, Soto has smacked three home runs in his last six starts. Overall, he has maintained a .271/.417/.510 line to go along with seven RBI and 21 runs scored across 120 plate appearances.

Socks fifth homer
Soto went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Rockies.
Impact
The fifth-inning blast off German Marquez was Soto's fifth homer of the year, but incredibly, all five have been solo shots. The 23-year-old has only one other RBI through 25 games as teams continue to pitch around him with runners on base, and his resulting .258/.405/.472 is well below expectations, Josh Bell is swinging a hot bat behind Soto in the lineup, but it seems unlikely pitchers will change their approach toward him as long as it keeps the Nationals' biggest threat in check.

Collects three hits
Soto went 3-for-5 with three runs and a stolen base in an 11-5 win over the Giants on Sunday.
Impact
Soto singled and scored in the first, sixth and eighth innings, swiping second base for his second theft of the season on the last occasion. The outing was the 23-year-old's first three-hit game of the year and the swipe puts him on pace to surpass a career-high 12 steals set back in 2019.

Goes deep in win
Soto went 2-for-5 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in a 14-4 victory against San Francisco on Friday.
Impact
Soto opened the scoring with a solo shot off Giants starter Alex Cobb in the first inning, singled home a run in the sixth and walked and scored in the eighth. After an 0-for-8 stretch last weekend, the 23-year-old has responded by going 4-for-13 with five walks over his last four games and currently leads MLB in walk rate. Soto's now slashing .253/.423/.467 with four home runs, though he has just five RBI due to a lack of talent surrounding him.
