Impact Ramirez hit a bases-loaded triple in the seventh inning and a two-run homer in the ninth to power the Guardians' offense as they pulled away with the lead late in the game. He's homered in four of his last seven contests, adding 14 RBI and six runs scored in that span. The third baseman has a robust .297/.391/.646 slash line with 12 homers, a major-league-leading 48 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases in 184 plate appearances. He's added four triples -- two shy of his career high -- and 11 doubles.

Over that stretch, the 29-year-old has batted .296 with four home runs, 11 RBI, five runs and a stolen base. He's now batting .293 with 11 homers, 24 runs, three stolen bases and an MLB-high 43 RBI over 147 at-bats in 39 games this season.

Impact Ramirez had a small injury scare involving his shin Thursday but didn't seem to be feeling any effects in Friday's win. He tripled in his first at-bat and later took Jacob Barnes deep for a three-run shot in the sixth. The star third baseman is now slashing .287/.380/.588 with nine home runs, 20 extra-base hits and 37 RBI. However, he's hit just two homers with a .211 average through 15 contests in May.
