Impact Caballero's two homers this season have come in his last two games. He made it a 5-0 lead for the Mariners with his second-inning blast. Prior to finding his power swing, he'd gone 3-for-17 across his previous eight games. The infielder is slashing .276/.371/.431 with 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and six stolen bases through 70 plate appearances in his first taste of the big leagues. He'll need to keep hitting to fend off Kolten Wong for the starting job at second base.

Three swipes and a home run Sunday Caballero went 1-for-1 with a walk, a solo home run and three stolen bases during Sunday's 3-2 loss against Atlanta.

Impact Caballero was hit by a pitch in his first at-bat and proceeded to steal second and third but was stranded to end the inning. He walked in the third and stole another bag, marking his sixth swipe of the year. In his final plate appearance, the rookie hit his first career home run to cut Atlanta's lead to 3-2. Caballero started the year in a platoon with Kolten Wong, but the youngster has outplayed the veteran thus far.

Impact Caballero was just summoned from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday and had made his big-league debut as a defensive replacement the same day against the Rockies. He slotted into the No. 8 spot in the order while starting at shortstop in his first start and was able to make some modest contributions during his first plate appearance.
