Impact While Walker posted a pedestrian .747 OPS in 78 games with Memphis, he had finally found his footing lately, slashing .343/.400/.687 with five home runs over his last 75 plate appearances. It seems likely that the Cardinals will give him another shot at regular playing time, perhaps at the expense of the slumping Lars Nootbaar. Walker had just a .497 OPS in 20 games for St. Louis earlier this season before being demoted.
