Falls short of Opening Day roster The Rangers reassigned Bride to minor-league camp Sunday.

Impact Bride had been competing for a utility spot on the Rangers' Opening Day roster but didn't help his case by slashing an underwhelming .226/.368/.290 over 38 plate appearances. The 30-year-old infielder is likely to begin the campaign at Triple-A Round Rock.

Invited to Rangers' camp Bride signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Tuesday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Bride finished 2025 with a mere .435 OPS through 125 plate appearances between Miami and Minnesota. He slashed .281/.423/.453 over 43 games in Triple-A, however, which was enough to buy him a shot with the Rangers this spring. He'll most likely report to Triple-A Round Rock at the start of the upcoming season.
