Coming up for MLB debut Thursday The Brewers are expected to call up Misiorowski from Triple-A Nashville to make his major-league debut Thursday against the Cardinals, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Misiorowski has some of the best raw stuff in the minors with a fastball that regularly clocks in the triple digits. Control has been a big issue at times, and he has issued nine walks over his last two starts at Nashville. The control has mostly been better this season, however, with the righty walking two or fewer in seven of his last 10 outings. Overall, Misiorowski has collected a 2.13 ERA and 80:31 K:BB over 63.1 innings with Nashville. It seems unlikely the Brewers would call him up to make just one start, so Misiorowski should get an opportunity to stick around for a bit.

Continues to impress Misiorowski gave up one earned run over seven innings in a game with Triple-A Nashville on Thursday. He allowed four hits and posted a 5:1 K:BB in the contest.

Impact It was a rather noteworthy outing for Misiorowski, who -- per MLB.com -- hit 103.0 on the radar gun with a sixth-inning fastball and lowered his ERA on the season to 1.46. Control has been a concern for Misiorowski, but he issued just nine of them in 35.2 innings -- good for a 2.3 BB/9 -- over his last six starts while striking out 43 batters over the same span. Milwaukee has all kind of candidates to start at the top level, but several of them are on the injured list, and if the club believes he has ironed out his issues with walking batters they could decide to summon him to the big leagues for the first time.

Impact Walks have long been a concern in regards to Misiorowski's prospect status, and after issuing 10 free passes over his first three starts of the season he only gave three batters a free base over his last three trips to the mound. If he has indeed turned a corner in the control department, it may not be long before he is plying his trade in Milwaukee.

Off to strong start Misiorowski tossed 3.2 scoreless innings of relief in a game with Triple-A Nashville on Saturday. He did not walk a batter and posted a 4:4 K:BB in the contest.

Impact Misiorowski's second outing of the season looked a lot like in his first, in which he started and allowed one hit over five scoreless frames while recording a 7:3 K:BB. Misiorowski -- one of Milwaukee's top pitching prospects -- has proven he can miss bats, posting a 12.6 career K/9 at the minor-league level. He also owns a 5.8 BB/9 rate, though, and that evidently remains an issue. Misiorowski figures to make his big-league debut at some point this season, but the Brewers are seemingly still hoping to see better control, and that could also determine whether or not they give him a chance to start or use him out of the bullpen at the top level.
