Impact Olivares sustained a right quadriceps strain in early May, and he isn't expected to be ready to return to game action until approximately late June. He'll presumably work on ramping up his activity level in the coming weeks prior to returning from the injured list.

Blake Taylor - Headed to IL Taylor was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with what was originally labeled left elbow discomfort, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact He is in Houston undergoing further testing on his arm, and a more definitive diagnosis should be forthcoming. The fact that it was serious enough for him to exit Friday's game after six pitches and then head back to Houston to be examined suggests it could be a pretty serious elbow injury.

Parker Mushinski - Recalled by Houston Mushinski was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Mushinski spent nearly a month in Sugar Land, and he struck out 12 in 10.1 scoreless innings over nine appearances during his stint with the minor-league club. He's posted a 5.06 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 5.1 innings over five relief appearances with the Astros this year and will rejoin the big-league bullpen after Blake Taylor (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday.
