Myles Straw - On base three times Sunday Straw went 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 extra-inning loss to Detroit.

Impact The speedy outfielder enjoyed a weekend series against Detroit, going 7-for-12 with three walks, two stolen bases and three runs while playing in three of four games. Straw is slashing .270/.343/.337 with 11 steals in 15 attempts, two home runs, 25 RBI and 33 runs scored across 287 plate appearances.

Blake Taylor - Takes second loss Taylor (0-2) allowed an unearned run in one-third of an inning in Sunday's extra-inning loss to Detroit.

Impact In the bottom of the 10th, Akil Baddoo was Detroit's initial runner, and he moved to third on a groundout before scoring on a sacrifice bunt that stuck Taylor with the loss. The southpaw still has a decent 3.17 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB across 14.2 innings. He's added three blown saves and two holds in 16 appearances, mainly in a low-leverage role.

Jake Odorizzi - Another strong start Odorizzi allowed two hits and a walk with three strikeouts in five shutout innings in a no-decision versus Detroit on Sunday.

Impact Odorizzi has responded well to Houston's six-man rotation -- he's thrown 10 shutout innings in his last two starts, and he also kept runs off the board in a four-inning relief outing before that. The right-hander has lowered his ERA to 4.08 with a 0.96 WHIP and 38:10 K:BB across 35.1 innings overall. He's only pitched into the sixth inning in one of his eight starts this year. Odorizzi lines up for a road start in Cleveland next weekend.

Akil Baddoo - Contributes on both runs in win Baddoo went 1-for-4 with an RBI single, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 extra-inning win over Houston.

Impact Baddoo got Detroit on the board when he knocked in Willi Castro for the game-tying run in the seventh inning. In the 10th, Baddoo was the initial runner, and he advanced to third on a Jonathan Schoop groundout before scoring on Robbie Grossman's squeeze bunt. The 22-year-old outfielder is slashing .276/.372/.491 with five home runs, nine steals, 23 RBI and 23 runs scored through 191 plate appearances. He should continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching.

Gregory Soto - Throws two scoreless inning for win Soto (4-1) allowed a walk and struck out one over two scoreless innings, earning the extra-inning win Sunday versus Houston.

Impact Soto kept Houston off the board in the ninth and 10th innings, and he earned the win after Robbie Grossman's squeeze bunt allowed Akil Baddoo to score the winning run. The southpaw continues to work in a flexible role -- he's notched six saves and six holds in 34 appearances. Soto owns a strong 2.25 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB across 32 innings this year.

Tarik Skubal - Excellent in no-decision Skubal allowed a run on one hit and three walks while striking out nine in seven innings Sunday versus Houston. He did not factor in the decision.

Impact Were it not for an RBI single from Akil Baddoo in the bottom of the seventh, Skubal could have ended up with a hard-luck loss. Instead, he'll settle for a quality start in his longest outing of the year, which saw him throw 102 pitches (62 strikes). The southpaw has a 4.06 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 94:36 K:BB across 77.2 innings. Across his last 10 starts, he's only allowed more than three runs twice as he settles into his second major-league campaign. He projects to make his next start versus the AL Central-leading White Sox next weekend.
