Impact Olivarez was one of four players on the Rockies' 40-man roster that was dispatched to the minors Thursday, leaving Colorado with 47 players remaining at MLB camp. The 21-year-old lefty's demotion comes as little surprise, given that he has yet to pitch above the Double-A level. He covered 99.2 innings for High-A Spokane in 2021, submitting a 6.05 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 112:68 K:BB.
