Hits first big-league homer Wagaman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-4 loss to the White Sox.

Impact Wagaman has picked up steady playing time since joining the Angels on Sept. 10. He's started five straight games at third base in the absence of Brandon Drury (hamstring), including four times versus right-handed pitchers. Wagaman has hit .200 (4-for-20), though all four of his hits have gone for extra bases (one homer, three doubles).

Added to roster The Angels selected Wagaman's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Impact Wagaman, 27, has hit .274/.339/.469 with 17 homers and 10 steals this season between Double-A Rocket City and Salt Lake. He can handle the corner outfield and corner infield spots and will be making his major-league debut when/if he enters a game.
