Impact Cabrera was lifted after three innings Thursday due to a blister on his right middle finger, so he had already pitched for the final time this season regardless of whether or not he was put on the IL. The 23-year-old ended 2021 with a 5.81 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 28:19 K:BB across 26.1 innings (seven starts). He should be back to full health early in the offseason.

Impact Cabrera was lifted in favor of a pinch hitter after only three innings and 56 pitches. His season is almost certainly over, and he pitched a combined 84.2 frames across multiple levels of the minor leagues and also in Miami. In his first taste of the major leagues, he managed a 5.79 ERA with a 1.67 WHIP across 23.1 innings.
