Nick Senzel - May be done for season Senzel went for another opinion on his knee and manager David Bell said Saturday that it's "going to take a while" before Senzel is fully healthy, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Impact The Reds' skipper said he's unsure whether Senzel will return this season. Reading between the lines, it seems like a long shot, unless the Reds make a deep postseason run. Senzel underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in May and was still noticeably favoring the knee when he hit following his return. Injuries have been a recurring theme for Senzel, and there didn't appear to be a spot for him anyway as he was optioned initially before that option was ultimately rescinded due to the ongoing trouble with the knee.
