Jace Jung - Officially added to roster The Tigers selected Jung's contract from Triple-A Toledo on Friday.
Impact The first-round pick is set to make his major-league debut after hitting .257/.377/.454 with 14 home runs and 60 RBI over 414 plate appearances this season with Toledo. A left-handed batter, Jung will be the Tigers' primary third baseman versus righties, but it's unclear whether the team also plans to play him regularly against southpaws.

Impact Miller got Jorge Polanco to fly out to end the top of the seventh inning, then pitched a clean eighth inning to ultimately pick up the win out of the bullpen. The veteran righty has had a few meltdowns this season, which has led to an ugly 5.36 ERA overall, but the Tigers still seem to trust him in high-leverage spots. That role gives Miller some value in deeper fantasy formats, though his volatility has made him hard to trust this year.

Impact Baez put Detroit on the board in the eighth inning with his sixth home run of the year. Impact Maeda's certainly shown improvement since he started working in bulk relief -- he's posted a 2.84 ERA across 19 innings in his last four appearances. Overall, the veteran right-hander is 2-5 with a 6.18 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 71:25 K:BB across 90.1 innings this year. Maeada's currently slated to start next week on the road versus the Cubs, though he could work behind an opener again due to his recent success.

Jason Foley - Picks up 16th save Foley earned the save in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Mariners, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.
Impact It's the first save for Foley in over a month and his first opportunity since July 12, when he allowed a run in a loss to the Dodgers. While Foley struggled to close out July, he's been pitching better since the start of August -- he's now made seven straight appearances (6.2 innings) without allowing an earned run. While the closing job in Detroit appears fluid, Foley is still likely the best bet for saves moving forward. He's converted 16 of 19 save chances this year while posting a 3.48 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 32:15 K:BB across 44 innings.

Impact Sweeney was acquired from the Dodgers ahead of the trade deadline as part of the return for Jack Flaherty.
