Andrew Chafin - Looks good in Triple-A appearance Chafin made the second appearance of his minor-league rehab assignment Sunday with Triple-A Toledo, tossing a 1-2-3 inning and striking out two in the nine-pitch outing.

Impact On the heels of the sharp rehab appearance, Chafin looks as though he could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list when the Tigers return to action Tuesday in Minnesota. The Tigers foreshadowed Chafin's likely activation by optioning reliever Rony Garcia to Toledo after Sunday's loss to the Rockies, which opens up a spot on the 28-man roster.

Impact Blackmon launched his second homer of the season Saturday and followed up with a four-hit effort in the series finale. It was the first stolen base of the season for the 35-year-old, who has only seven stolen bases over the previous three campaigns. He has a modest five-game hit streak during which he's gone 8-for-18 with two home runs, a double, five RBI and eight runs.

Chad Kuhl - Secures second victory Kuhl (2-0) earned the win Sunday at Detroit after giving up one run on four hits with four strikeouts and two walks across six innings.

Impact The right-hander allowed a run on two hits during the third inning but otherwise shut down the Tigers. Kuhl was able to generate 15 swinging strikes, though those results didn't produce many strikeouts.
