Secures fourth save Sulser struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Tigers.
Impact Paul Fry closed out the seventh inning while Dillon Tate had to bail out Tanner Scott in the eighth, leaving closing duties to Sulser. The 31-year-old has reeled off seven straight scoreless appearances, picking up one win, one save and one hold over that stretch, and on the season he sports a 2.82 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 52:18 K:BB through 38.1 innings.

Picks up win Sulser (3-2) tossed a perfect third of an inning to earn the win over the Nationals on Sunday.
Impact Sulser entered Sunday's game with runners on first and second in the top of the ninth inning. The right-hander was able to record the final out of the inning to keep the deficit at one run, and he earned his third win of the year when the Orioles came back in the bottom half of the frame. Sulser hasn't allowed a run in 3.2 innings across his last five appearances, and he should continue to see high-leverage opportunities.

Takes blown save Sulser allowed a run on one hit in two-thirds of an inning, taking a blown save versus the White Sox on Sunday.
Impact The right-hander's strong June put him in the closer conversation in Baltimore, but he's now allowed five runs in just two innings across three July appearances. Sulser entered Sunday's game in the sixth inning and gave up a three-run home run to Andrew Vaughn, with two of those runs charged to Paul Fry. Through 32.2 innings overall, Sulser has a 3.31 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB. He'll likely continue to see time in high-leverage roles, as Baltimore has few dependable arms in its bullpen.

Adam Engel hit a three-run homer in the 10th inning and the Chicago White Sox rolled into the All-Star break with a 7-5 victory over Baltimore to complete a season sweep of the Ori...

Suffers first loss of 2021 Sulser (2-1) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out a batter over a third of an inning as he took the loss Sunday against the Angels.
Impact Sulser was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the ninth and completely imploded. He walked the leadoff batter and proceeded to give up back-to-back singles before Juan Lagares ended the game with a two-run double. Sulser had previously put up five consecutive scoreless outings before Sunday's meltdown and now owns a 2.61 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB over 31 innings.

Locks down save No. 3 Sulser threw 1.2 scoreless innings Wednesday against the Astros while earning his third save of the year. He did not allow a hit and struck out one in the effort.
Impact Susler relieved Paul Fry with a man on and one out in the eighth and sent down all five batters he faced with relative ease. He picked up his second save over the last five days as it appears he'll continue to be in the mix for save opportunities for the time being. He could be an option to scoop up in AL-only leagues but overall still isn't very trustworthy on most rosters given the fact that he's still in a committee on one of the worst teams in baseball. Sulser now owns a 2.05 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 43:12 K:BB over 30.2 innings.

Picks up second save Sulser walked one and struck out one in a scoreless 10th inning Friday to record his second save of the season in a 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.
Impact He earned this save by getting Vladimir Guerrero to ground into a double play with two on and nobody out. Both of Sulser's saves have come in June, and he's put himself back into the high-leverage mix for Baltimore with a 2.30 ERA and 40:10 K:BB through 27.1 innings on the year.

Orioles rally, beat Blue Jays 6-5 to end 20-game road skid

Austin Hays drove in two runs to cap an eighth-inning rally and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 in 10 innings Friday night to stop a 20-game road losing streak

Allows two runs Thursday Sulser gave up two runs on two hits and struck out one in two-thirds of an inning during Thursday's 10-3 loss to Cleveland.
Impact The right-hander was able to get the last two outs of the fifth inning after Jorge Lopez exited the game. Sulser continued in the sixth inning, but allowed two batters to reach before Dillon Tate replaced him and allowed both inherited runners to score. Sulser has hit a rough patch with three runs allowed in his last 2.2 innings after a stretch of 8.2 scoreless frames. He has a 2.59 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 36:8 K:BB across 24.1 innings. He's added a 2-0 record, one save and one hold in 22 outings. Playing for cellar-dwelling Baltimore hasn't provided many high-leverage opportunities for most of the relievers on the roster.

Earns win Friday Sulser (2-0) allowed one hit and no walks while striking out one in a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win against Cleveland on Friday.
Impact Sulser earned his first save of the season in his last outing, and he was able to pick up his second win of the year Friday. The right-hander was used in a save situation Tuesday, and he's part of a late-inning mix that includes Cesar Valdez, Cole Sulser and Paul Fry, who picked up the save Friday.

Records first save Sulser had a strikeout and a walk with a hit allowed over a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save during Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Twins.
Impact The right-hander received his first save chance of the season and came through despite allowing a couple baserunners. Sulser had five saves for the Orioles before losing the closer's role last season, but he's primarily been limited to middle relief in 2021.

Scoreless streak at six innings Sulser logged a perfect inning with two strikeouts in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.
Impact Sulser has kept runs off the board in his last six outings, allowing only two hits and four walks in six innings in that span. The right-hander has been effective in a low-leverage role this year. He's posted a 1.89 ERA, .095 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB in 19 innings overall. Sulser also has a win and a hold, but he hasn't been considered for the few save chances the last-place Orioles have produced -- Cesar Valdez has often worked as the closer this year.
MAY 30, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Logs 1.2 scoreless frames Sulser allowed a walk and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless innings in Tuesday's 13-6 loss to Tampa Bay.
Impact The right-hander was the only one of five Baltimore pitchers to keep runs off the board in Tuesday's blowout loss. Sulser has pitched to a 2.45 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB across 14.2 innings this season. He's picked up a win and a hold in 11 outings, but the reliever hasn't seen much high-leverage work despite his sharp numbers. He had allowed three runs in his last two innings prior to his solid showing Tuesday.
