John Schreiber - Optioned to Triple-ASchreiber was optioned to Triple-A Worcester on Monday.
ImpactSchreiber had been with the team since Wednesday. He made his season debut Sunday against Cleveland, striking out five while allowing a run on four hits and a walk in a three-inning relief appearance. He'll head back to the minors as the Red Sox cycle in a new set of fresh arms.

Michael Feliz - Contract selectedFeliz's contract was selected by the Red Sox on Monday.
ImpactFeliz has already pitched at the big-league level for both the Pirates and Reds this season but hasn't found much success. In 14.1 innings, he's allowed 15 runs (14 earned), good for an 8.79 ERA. He'll give Boston a low-leverage relief option but is unlikely to stick around once the team's COVID-19 outbreak has passed.

Kutter Crawford - Sent out after MLB debutThe Red Sox optioned Crawford to Triple-A Worcester on Monday.
ImpactSummoned from Triple-A to make an emergency spot start after Nick Pivetta was moved to the COVID-19 injured list, Crawford struggled in his MLB debut Sunday against Cleveland, lasting only two innings while surrendering five runs on five hits and two walks. The Red Sox won't require a fifth starter again until Sept. 14, at which point Pivetta or Martin Perez could be ready to return from the COVID-19 IL to step into the rotation. With that in mind, Crawford will most likely remain at Triple-A for the rest of the season.

Josh Taylor - Back from COVID-19 ILThe Red Sox reinstated Taylor from the COVID-19-related injured list ahead of Monday's game against the Rays.
ImpactThough he was deactivated Aug. 30, Taylor never tested positive for the virus and was thus eligible to return from the IL in less than 10 days. The Red Sox were comfortable with how Taylor looked from a conditioning standpoint while he played catch on the field earlier Monday, so he should be available out of the bullpen for the series opener.
