Randy Dobnak - Resumes bullpen sessions Dobnak (finger) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session at about 75 percent intensity Wednesday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Impact Dobnak has yet to pitch this season while dealing with a right middle finger injury which dates back to late last year, and he also suffered a setback in late May. The right-hander is now progressing in his throwing program but appears unlikely to return from the injured list within the next few weeks.

Miguel Sanó - Nearing live BP Sano (knee) continues to ramp up his running progression and recently started hitting, and he could participate in live batting practice as early as next week, Do-Hyoung Park of ML...

Impact The 29-year-old underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in mid-May and appears to be nearing the latter stages of his rehab program. Sano will be eligible to be activated from the 60-day injured list at the start of July, though he shouldn't be expected to be ready at that point since he'll likely require a minor-league rehab assignment.

Byron Buxton - Receives Wednesday off Buxton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Impact Buxton's absence comes as a surprise after he received a breather Saturday before starting in both of the Twins' next two games while benefiting from a team off day in between them. At this point, the Twins haven't indicated that Buxton is dealing with an injury, so the prevailing assumption is that he's getting another maintenance day. Nick Gordon replaces Buxton in center field Wednesday.

Franmil Reyes - Takes seat Wednesday Reyes isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Twins.

Impact Reyes returned to the lineup Tuesday against Minnesota and went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer and four strikeouts. Josh Naylor will serve as the designated hitter while Owen Miller starts at first base.

Trevor Stephan - Snags win Tuesday Stephan (3-2) walked one and struck out three in one scoreless inning to earn the win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Impact Stephan walked Byron Buxton to lead off the bottom of the 10th inning, but he bounced back to strike out Carlos Correa, Max Kepler and Gary Sanchez in order. The Guardians pulled ahead in the 11th and Emmanuel Clase made it stick to earn Stephan his first win since April 29. He's kept runs off the board in six of his seven appearances in June and now owns a 3.65 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB through 24.2 innings overall. Stephan has added a save, four holds and a blown save, though he only occasionally sees high-leverage spots.
