Steven Cruz - Will start 2025 in Triple-A Cruz was optioned by the Royals to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.
Impact Cruz had a good showing during spring training, posting a 2.57 ERA and 1.00 WHIP across seven frames. The 25-year-old right-hander could make his way to the majors at some point this season if he's able to keep form in Triple-A.

Jonathan Bowlan - Optioned to Triple-A The Royals optioned Bowlan to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.
Impact Bowlan gave up one earned run over his first six spring outings, but he struggled against the Reds on Saturday when he allowed four runs on four hits and one walk over 1.2 innings. He'll begin the 2025 regular season in Triple-A, but he'd give himself a chance to see major-league action at some point this year with some strong outings in Omaha. He appeared in 35 games (including 16 starts) with Omaha during the 2024 regular season and posted a 12-4 record with a 4.67 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 98:34 K:BB across 104 innings.

Gabriel Arias - Knocks homer Arias went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's spring game against Kansas City.
Impact Arias launched his second Cactus League home run and has hits in five of his last six outings. Part of the competition for the starting job at second base, Arias may be tops among the competitors. He's been given the most at-bats (32) among the group and has a .773 OPS.

Kyle Manzardo - Logs third spring homer Manzardo went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's spring game against the Royals.
Impact Manzardo, who launched his third Cactus League home run, is have a terrific spring. He's batting .412 (14-for-34) with five extra-base hits and seven RBI through 13 games. The 24-year-old left-handed hitter should be a lineup regular, either at designated hitter or first base.
