Jack Leiter - Strikes out nine in no-decision Leiter did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Reds, allowing one run on four hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over five innings.
Impact Leiter allowed a run in the fourth inning but was otherwise impressive, inducing 18 swinging strikes on 85 pitches. The 25-year-old posted a 3.28 ERA with a 79:29 K:BB across 13 starts after the All-Star break in 2025 and has carried that momentum into this season, tallying 17 strikeouts while allowing just three earned runs over 11 frames. He'll face a tough test in a road matchup against the Dodgers next weekend.

Chase Burns - Dominant in no-decision Burns did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rangers, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over six innings.
Impact Burns opened with six scoreless innings before surrendering a solo homer in the seventh and leaving with a 1-1 tie without recording an out in the frame. Impact The left-handed batting Smith has hit the skids to open the season and is hitless over his last 11 at-bats. His career OPS of .626 against southpaws leaves him vulnerable to a potential platoon at second base. The strong side of a platoon is better then nothing, but Smith's .115 average will have an impact on a fantasy lineup.
