Impact Greene threw about 25 pitches Wednesday and expects to throw a longer session Saturday. The Reds are hopeful the right-hander can rejoin the rotation next week during the team's homestand.

Rece Hinds - Enters game due to injury Hinds entered Thursday's game after Will Benson (finger) was removed from a 6-1 loss to St. Louis.

Impact Benson was pulled after injuring his left middle finger during a bunt attempt in the sixth inning. Amed Rosario finished the at-bat, and Hinds entered to the play the field in the seventh. Hinds has just eight plate appearances (zero starts) since being called up in late August. Benson's X-rays came back negative, and there may not be an immediate need for Hinds to fill in.
