Impact Bart was removed from Sunday's contest against the Reds as a result of a left hamstring injury and he'll now be forced to miss some extended time. In Bart's absence, Henry Davis is expected to be called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday and he'll likely split time with Yasmani Grandal at catcher.

Impact Davis will return to the major-league roster for the first time since mid-June after producing a .301 average with six home runs, 26 RBI, 25 runs scored and seven stolen bases since his demotion. The 24-year-old will replace Joey Bart (hamstring) in a timeshare at catcher with Yasmani Grandal after Bart is officially placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Michael A. Taylor - Placed on waivers The Pirates placed Taylor on outright waivers on Sunday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Impact Taylor will now be available to be claimed by the 29 other teams in the league, though he may not have many suitors based on his .196/.257/.284 slash line over 250 at-bats in 100 games with the Pirates this season. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the outfieler will either report to Triple-A Indianapolis or be released outright.
