Optioned off roster Marsh (arm) was optioned to the minors Tuesday.
Impact Marsh was always expected to open the season at the Triple-A level, and with an arm issue slowing him down throughout camp, he hasn't really had the chance to make an unlikely charge toward a roster spot. He should be a candidate for a midseason callup if he looks good in the minors to start the year.

Contract selected Guerra's contract was selected by the Angels on Tuesday.
Impact Guerra joined the Angels as a non-roster invitee in January and has evidently done enough to win a roster spot. He's struck out four, walked two and allowed two hits in 2.1 scoreless innings so far this spring.

Starting Tuesday Upton (illness) will bat fifth and play left field Tuesday against Cleveland.
Impact Upton was scratched from the lineup Monday with an illness, but it evidently wasn't a particularly serious one. The veteran has gone 7-for-16 with three homers so far this spring and will look to stay hot Tuesday.

Getting MRI Pena (hamstring) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Impact Pena received an initial diagnosis of right hamstring tightness when he exited his outing in Monday's game against the Reds, but the Angels will send him for further tests to get a clearer idea on the severity of his injury. If Pena is determined to have suffered a hamstring strain, he could have a tough time gaining clearance for Opening Day.
