Matt Bush - Rehab assignment on tap Bush (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.
Impact Bush has been on the injured list since early April due to right elbow inflammation, but he'll return to game action for the first time since April 7 during Monday's outing. The right-hander will likely require several rehab appearances given the length of his absence, so he might not have enough time to rejoin the Rangers prior to the end of the season.

Ryan Tepera - Resumes throwing White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Monday that Tepera (finger) threw for a second straight day, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Impact Tepera is apparently still feeling the laceration on his finger when he throws, but the White Sox aren't expected to shut him down as a result. Assuming Tepera's finger gradually improves, he should get back on a mound in the near future, which would leave the door open for the reliever to make a return before the end of the regular season.

Andrew Vaughn - Not yet back to 100 percent White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Monday that Vaughn (back) has resumed hitting but is still experiencing some discomfort while running, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Impact Vaughn is first eligible to return from the injured list during this weekend's series in Cleveland, but La Russa's comments suggest the rookie isn't a lock to be ready to go by then. The fact that Vaughn is able to do at least some activity while he contends with lower-back inflammation suggests that he won't be in store for a lengthy stay on the IL, however.

José Abreu - Sitting out to treat soreness White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Abreu is being withheld from the lineup Monday against the Tigers because he has "sore spots all over," James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Impact Based on the tenor of La Russa's comments, Abreu doesn't seem to be dealing with any sort of legitimate injury, so consider his absence to be more of a veteran maintenance day. That said, fantasy managers in leagues with daily lineup moves will still want to check back and confirm that Abreu is back in action Tuesday.

Adam Engel - Should return Tuesday Manager Tony La Russa said Engel (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Impact Engel has been on the injured list with the shoulder injury over a month and will rejoin Chicago's active roster Tuesday. The 29-year-old has a .248/.339/.505 slash line with seven homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs and seven stolen bases in 33 games this season. Engel should operate as a fourth outfielder when the White Sox are fully healthy, but he could see increased playing time until Andrew Vaughn (back) can return from his own injury.

Yonny Hernandez - Not starting Monday Hernandez is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.
Impact Hernandez finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games. While his nine steals in 33 games have certainly helped fantasy teams, he hasn't done enough with his bat to deserve an everyday role, hitting .250/.351/.277 with just three extra-base hits (all doubles). Charlie Culberson will be the third baseman Monday.
