Jays, White Sox look to make pre-break push Salvaging a game from the team with the worst record in the major leagues counts as a salve for the struggling Chicago White Sox.
Oscar Colás - Returning to majors Colas will be recalled from Triple-A Charlotte prior to the White Sox' game Tuesday versus the Blue Jays, Francys Romero of MLB.com reports.
Impact Colas was sent down by the White Sox in late April after he batted just .211/.265/.276 in his first 25 games. However, he's been on fire of late with Charlotte, collecting a 1.253 OPS with seven home runs over his last 10 contests to earn another shot in the big leagues. Colas should play regularly in right field at least against right-handed pitching.

Tim Anderson - Still hitting poorly Anderson went 2-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base Sunday against the Athletics.
Impact Anderson tallied his second multi-hit effort in his last four starts, though he's still hitting just .172 across his last 22 games. He's stolen only three bases and scored seven runs in that span, providing little fantasy appeal. Anderson has also still yet to go yard and has an abysmal .036 ISO across 263 plate appearances on the campaign.

JJ Bleday - Good wood on ball in loss Bleday went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI doubles and a run in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.
Impact Bleday's recent productive stretch at the plate continued with his second straight two-RBI effort and first multi-hit tally since June 7. The 25-year-old outfielder is hitting a relatively modest .250 over his last eight games; however, he's complemented that figure with eight RBI thanks to a .400 average with men on base, as well as a .364 on-base percentage largely due to a 15.2 percent walk rate.

Tony Kemp - Hot hitting continues in loss Kemp went 2-for-5 with an RBI single, a stolen base and two runs in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.
Impact Back atop the order for the sixth consecutive game, Kemp's torrid stretch at the plate continued with his third straight two-hit effort. The veteran's offensive transformation, which began June 15 after three consecutive days off, has been nothing short of astounding -- Kemp owns a .340 average, .964 OPS and microscopic 3.2 percent strikeout rate over that 16-game span, pushing his average to the precipice of the Mendoza Line (.196) with a 50-point boost during the sample.

Brent Rooker - Squares up for 14th homer Rooker entered Sunday's loss to the White Sox as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the sixth and remained in the game in right field, going 1-for-2 with a two-run home run.
Impact After striking out looking during his official pinch-hit plate appearance, Rooker put some much-needed good wood on the ball and sent a Bryan Shaw cutter 441 feet into the center field seats with Shea Langeliers aboard in the eighth. Rooker had been mired in a 3-for-34 slump over the prior 11 contests coming into the game, but he's now got a modest three-game hitting streak going that also includes his first career triple.
