Impact Laureano was designated for assignment by Oakland over the weekend but will get to remain in the majors and join a team with playoff aspirations. The 29-year-old is sporting just a .213/.280/.364 slash line this season, but he should receive a good amount of playing time in Cleveland at the very least against left-handed pitching. Laureano is under team control through 2025 but could be a non-tender candidate unless he finishes strong.

Tyler Naquin - Acquired by White Sox The White Sox acquired Naquin from the Brewers on Monday in exchange for cash considerations, Scot Gregor of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.
Impact Naquin has spent all of 2023 at Triple-A Nashville, posting a .766 OPS with six home runs in 40 games. The veteran outfielder will report to Charlotte for now but could be an option to join the White Sox at some point during the final two months of the season.
