T.J. McFarland - Solid finish to regular season McFarland posted a 1-0 record and five holds over the nine innings covering his last 10 regular-season appearances.
Impact The veteran also blew a save opportunity and posted a 5.00 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in that span, hinting at occasional trouble. However, McFarland was still mostly impressive throughout that stretch, giving up more than one earned run just once and tossing six scoreless outings as well. The left-hander enjoyed a fantasy-friendly campaign overall that included a 4-1 record, 2.56 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 15 holds across 38.2 innings over 38 appearances.

Kwang-hyun Kim - Finishes strong as reliever Kim wrapped up the regular season with three straight scoreless relief appearances spanning five innings.
Impact The left-hander also picked up his seventh win of the season in the middle game of that sample, a Sept. 25 victory over the Cubs. Kim pitched exclusively out of the bullpen over his last five appearances, giving up four runs (two earned) over the 2.1 innings covering his first two relief outings in the sample before settling down in the final three. If the Cardinals are able to get past the Dodgers in Wednesday's NL Wild Card Game, Kim should have a strong chance of making it to the NLDS roster considering the considerable flexibility he offers manager Mike Shildt as a long reliever or spot starter.
