Joe Biagini - Contract selected by Cubs Biagini's contract was selected from Triple-A Iowa on Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Impact Biagini joined the Cubs on a minor-league deal in February and has spent the entire 2021 campaign in Iowa. He recorded a 5.50 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in 91.2 innings across 22 appearances (19 starts) and will be available out of the bullpen for the final two games of the regular season.

Tommy Nance - Placed on injured list Nance was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
