Optioned to Triple-A The Marlins optioned Gibson to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

Impact Gibson made his MLB debut Sunday against the Phillies and pitched 2.1 innings out of the bullpen, allowing just one hit while striking out two and walking none in Miami's 7-5 win. Gibson should find his way back to the Marlins' big club at some point again this season.
