Working as opener Tuesday Gibson will operate as the opener for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Impact Gibson will take the ball for the first inning or so before making way for a bulk reliever. Tyler Phillips will presumably follow Gibson, though the Marlins have yet to confirm their pitching plans for the second game of the series.
