INJURIES

Tosses five scoreless frames Woo did not factor into Tuesday's decision against the Yankees, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out five across five scoreless innings.
Impact Woo worked around two baserunners in the first inning before allowing just two more Yankees batters on base over the next four frames. He sported a 6.32 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 31.1 innings spanning six starts from June 24 to July 30, but he's kept his opponents scoreless in back-to-back starts and is up to seven consecutive outings in which he's struck out at least five batters. Woo will take a 4.15 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 132.1 innings into his next start, which is lined up for this weekend on the road against the Astros.

Strong showing in win Woo (8-8) allowed three hits, one walk and three hit batsmen while striking out five over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Tigers on Wednesday.
Impact While Woo didn't have his sharpest control, the Tigers weren't able to get a run off of him. He's now allowed just five runs (four earned) across his last 26.1 innings at home, but his success in those games has been offset by a 6.16 ERA on the road since the start of June. Overall, he has a 4.31 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 127:27 K:BB through 127.1 innings across 22 starts this season. Woo's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Yankees. He's a risky fantasy option despite the two-start potential next week due to his extreme home/road splits.

Surrenders five runs in loss Woo (7-8) took the loss against the Dodgers on Thursday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over five innings.
Impact The big blow against Woo was a three-run homer by Dalton Rushing in the fourth inning. Beyond that, the right-handed hurler pitched pretty well, racking up 17 whiffs among his 91 total pitches. Woo finished with eight punchouts -- his most since June 18 -- but he's taken two straight losses, giving up exactly five runs in exactly five frames in each defeat. He'll carry a disappointing 4.56 season ERA into his next start, which lines up to be a home matchup against Detroit.

Struggles early Saturday Woo (7-7) allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Saturday.
Impact Woo allowed all five runs over the first two innings. It's the fourth time in his last eight starts he's given up at least five runs as he continues to battle inconsistency on a week-to-week basis this year. The right-hander has a 4.37 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 114:24 K:BB through 115.1 innings over 20 starts. Woo's next start is projected to be at home versus the Twins.

Fans seven in no-decision Woo allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over six innings in a no-decision versus San Francisco on Saturday.
Impact Woo allowed just one run over his initial five frames but then surrendered a pair of solo homers in the sixth. He was down 3-0 when he departed, but a late Seattle rally took him off the hook. While Woo wasn't able to nab a victory, he did record his 11th quality start of the season while displaying good swing-and-miss stuff with 14 whiffs. He's lined up to make his next start on the road against the Rangers.

Yields nine hits in no-decision Woo did not factor into Tuesday's decision against the Marlins, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out five across five innings.
Impact The nine hits Woo allowed to Miami matched a season high that he set twice prior to Monday's outing. He was on the hook for the loss before his Mariners teammates came through with a three-run eighth inning. Woo has yielded at least three earned runs in five of his last eight outings, and he now sits at a 4.23 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 102:20 K:BB across 104.1 innings this season. Woo's next outing figures to be after the All-Star break, seeing as the Mariners are deploying a six-man rotation.
