Chris Martin - Earns first save of 2025 Martin struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his first save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Red Sox.
Impact Martin got the call to close things out Saturday after Luke Jackson was used for the first two games of the series. Martin had no problem getting through the inning and earned the save after striking out Tristan Casas. Martin needed only 13 pitches (nine strikes), and given the Rangers used five relievers in Saturday's win, he could have his number called in Sunday's series finale.

Hoby Milner - Credited with win vs. Boston Milner (1-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-3 victory over the Red Sox. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out a batter across 1.1 scoreless frames.
Impact Tyler Mahle was taken out of the second inning after tossing 61 pitches, and the Rangers turned to its bullpen for the rest of Saturday's contest. Milner was called into the fourth inning to record the final round, and he was able to get out of the fifth inning unscathed after giving up a walk and a single. He tossed 27 pitches Saturday (18 for strikes), but given the Rangers used five relievers out of the bullpen, he may be called upon in Sunday's series finale.

Tyler Mahle - Records five outs in no-decision Mahle didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Red Sox. He allowed one run on two hits and four walks while striking out three over 1.2 innings.
Impact Mahle walked four of the 11 batters he faced Saturday and was taken out of the game after giving up a bases-loaded walk to Rafael Devers in the second inning. Only 30 of Mahle's 61 pitches found the strike zone, and the Rangers were forced to turn to the bullpen for the final 7.1 frames of the game. He'll look to bounce back in his next outing and is lined up to face the Rays at home next week.

Walker Buehler - Tagged with loss in team debut Buehler (0-1) came away with the loss against the Rangers on Saturday. He allowed four runs on seven hits while striking out three across 4.1 innings.
Impact Buehler's Red Sox debut got off to a rough start when he gave up two runs in the first inning. He steadied himself over the next two frames before giving up a solo home run to Adolis Garcia in the fourth inning and allowed a fourth and final run in the fifth. Buehler left the mound having thrown 48 of 80 pitches for strikes and induced just two ground outs. He's tentatively slated to face the Cardinals at home next week.

Rob Refsnyder - Under the weather Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters after Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers that Refsnyder was unable to play due to an illness, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
Impact Refsnyder has yet to make his 2025 regular-season debut, though it's unclear whether his absence for the first two games of the series was due to him being under the weather. He had a productive 2024 campaign and projected to serve in the weak side of the platoon in right field with Wilyer Abreu, but Refsnyder will have to overcome his current illness before taking the field. Romy Gonzalez could see some additional reps in the outfield as a defensive substitute for as long as Refsnyder is on the shelf.
