Impact Fuentes will get another chance with the big-league team after Connor Joe was placed on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain. The 28-year-old Fuentes has done little with his 276 plate appearances with Colorado this season, slashing .228/.261/.357, and at this point there's little reason to think his bat will ever rise to the standards of a regular big-league corner infielder.

Impact This seemed inevitable after it was revealed Joe strained his hamstring while running from first to third in the third inning of Friday's game.
