Austin Riley - Slams homer Monday Riley went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.
Impact Riley belted the fourth of Atlanta's four solo homers in the game, but the team was unable to get in the scoring column otherwise. The long ball was Riley's second in his past three contests following a 13-game homerless stretch. The veteran third baseman is batting just .213 on the season, but he may be coming around at the plate, as he's gone 6-for-15 with five RBI over his past four contests.

JR Ritchie - Battles control against Mariners Ritchie allowed three runs on four hits and six walks while striking out two batters over five-plus innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Monday.
Impact Ritchie battled his control throughout the game and threw just 47 of 93 pitches for strikes. However, he managed to get through five frames without allowing a run despite walking four batters and hitting another during that span. The free passes finally caught up with Ritchie in the sixth; he began the inning by walking the first two batters he faced before serving up a three-run homer to Luke Raley. Ritchie was pulled after that long ball and ended up with a no-decision. The rookie righty has flashed good potential this year, but walks have been an issue, as he has a 13:12 K:BB through 17.1 frames spanning three starts. His spot in the rotation isn't guaranteed if he isn't able improve his control moving forward.

Michael Harris II - Considered day-to-day Harris (quadriceps) is being considered day-to-day after Atlanta left him out of Monday's starting lineup against Seattle, Chad Bishop of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Impact Harris managed to slot into the starting lineup in the DH spot Saturday, but he wasn't penciled into the starting nine Monday after also sitting Sunday. Manager Walt Weiss noted that the club is officially considering Harris day-to-day, though an IL stint could be on the table if the quad injury doesn't improve over the next few days. "You pull the plug on it if it starts to get worse at any time," said Weiss. "There's a tipping point right? We can't continue with this for another two week."

Michael Harris II - Remains out of lineup Monday Harris (quad) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game in Seattle.
Impact Harris returned from his left quad injury to start Saturday's game against the Rockies in the designated hitter spot, but he's now been absent from the lineup for the last two contests. Atlanta does not appear comfortable playing Harris in center field yet, and it has elected to put Drake Baldwin at DH on Monday while Sean Murphy makes his season debut at catcher. Harris has made a couple pinch-hitting appearances in games he didn't start, so he should be available off the bench Monday.

Jonah Heim - DFA'd by Atlanta Atlanta designed Heim for assignment Monday.
Impact Heim served as Atlanta's No. 2 catcher behind Drake Baldwin after Sean Murphy (hip) opened the season on the 10-day injured list. With Murphy back from the IL, Heim's services are no longer needed on Atlanta's major-league roster, and it's unclear whether he will stay with the organization if he clears waivers. Heim is slashing .231/.311/.410 with one home run and eight RBI across 45 plate appearances this season.
MAY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Sean Murphy - Activated from IL Atlanta activated Murphy (hip) from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Impact Murphy is ready to make his 2026 debut following his recovery from his surgery in September to repair a right hip labral tear. He finished his rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett strongly, going 8-for-24 (.333) with four RBI, two doubles and six runs scored over his last six outings. Murphy should slide back into his primary role as Atlanta's designated hitter while Drake Baldwin continues to handle catcher duties. Jonah Heim was designated for assignment by Atlanta in a corresponding move.
MAY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Ha-Seong Kim - Moving rehab to Triple-A Kim (finger) is moving his rehab assignment from Double-A Columbus to Triple-A Gwinnett this week, Lindsay Crosby of BravesToday.com reports.
Impact Kim embarked on his rehab assignment in late April and is taking the next step in his recovery from surgery he underwent in January to repair a torn tendon in his right middle finger. He went 3-for-9 with four walks, one steal and three runs scored across four outings in Double-A and will likely need a few outings in Triple-A before being cleared to return to the majors. Mauricio Dubon should continue to hold down the fort at shortstop until Kim is back with Atlanta.
