Impact Chourio told reporters that his right hamstring felt "perfect," and he could be activated at any time. He is not, however, in Friday's lineup for the series opener. Chourio -- who went just 1-for-19 with an 8:2 K:BB in five rehab games with Triple-A Nashville -- has been sidelined since late July with a strained right hamstring.

Rob Zastryzny - Reinstated from injured list The Brewers activated Zastryzny (ribs) from the 15-day injured list Friday.

Impact Zastryzny has been out since late June with a stress reaction in his ribs but is ready to go after overcoming a previous setback. He'll give manager Pat Murphy another left-handed option in the bulllpen.

Easton McGee - Sent back to Nashville The Brewers optioned McGee to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Impact McGee had thrown 3.2 innings covering two appearances over the last two days, so he wasn't going to be available to pitch for a day or two. Rob Zastryzny (ribs) is coming off the injured list to take McGee's roster spot.

Impact The results at the plate for Chourio on his rehab assignment have not been there, but the good news is he played through the top of the 10th inning of Nashville's extra-inning loss to Charlotte on Wednesday. That could be the final step he needed to take before being reinstated from the 10-day injured list, as he was off Thursday and is expected to rejoin the Brewers for their weekend series in Toronto. Chourio has been shelved since late July with a strained right hamstring.
