Impact Bradley's shift to the 60-day injured list doesn't come as a major surprise, as he'll be shut down from throwing for approximately four weeks after landing on the IL with a right elbow fracture Tuesday. The right-hander won't be eligible to return until at least late August, and a better idea of his timetable is unlikely to come into focus until he resumes throwing.

Impact According to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register, Bradley will be shut down from throwing for four weeks before being allowed to start a throwing program, so he'll likely spend at least two months on the shelf. The veteran righty had been pitching quite well, logging a 2.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP over his last 16 appearances, although he had just 10 strikeouts in 13 innings over that stretch.

Charged with loss Saturday Bradley (0-1) took the loss against Seattle on Saturday, allowing three unearned runs on no hits and two walks while striking out one batter over two-thirds of an inning.

Impact Bradley relieved starter Patrick Sandoval in the sixth inning and walked two of the first three batters he faced. An error by third baseman Tyler Wade loaded the bases, but Bradley was able to strike out Eugenio Suarez before being pulled for Jose Quijada. Quijada then allowed all three inherited runners to score, pinning the loss on Bradley. This was his first defeat of the campaign, but he's struggled with consistency, posting a 4.82 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 3.4 BB/9 across 18.2 innings.

Collects second save Bradley earned a save against the Mariners in Game 2 of a doubleheader Saturday with a perfect inning of work.

Impact Regular closer Raisel Iglesias pitched an inning and earned the win in the first game of the twin bill, with Jose Quijada earning the save in that contest. As such, manager Phil Nevin called on Bradley to close things out with Los Angeles up 3-0 in the ninth inning of the nightcap, and the veteran succeeded by retiring all three batters he faced on only six pitches. This was Bradley's first save since late April, and he shouldn't be expected to see frequent ninth-inning opportunities with Iglesias' firm grip on the closer role.

Impact Bradley threw a pair of bullpen sessions this week and is expected to throw an inning with the Angels' minor-league affiliate Saturday. He hasn't pitched in a game since April 29, so it's possible he'll require several rehab appearances prior to rejoining the major-league roster. However, Bradley will likely reclaim a high-leverage role in the Angels' bullpen once he's activated.
