Dealing with bruised shin Rendon was pulled from Tuesday's game against San Diego with a left shin contusion.

Impact X-rays came back negative after Rendon fouled a ball off his left leg. While it appears he avoided serious injury, it's very possible the Angels hold Rendon out of the lineup for a day or two while Rendon recovers. Eduardo Escobar figures to see an uptick in playing time should Rendon sit out.
