Impact Dickerson was removed from Tuesday's contest after he was hit by a pitch on the foot, but he underwent X-rays after the game that came back negative. He's still considered day-to-day, but Kris Bryant will shift to left field while Wilmer Flores starts at first base.

X-rays negative on foot Dickerson was hit by a pitch on the foot during Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, but X-rays afterward returned negative, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Impact Dickerson stayed in the game after pinch hitting for pitcher Jose Alvarez, and the outfielder scored a run when Buster Posey drew a bases-loaded walk. Since he's likely dealing with soreness in the foot rather than any broken bones, Dickerson shouldn't be sidelined more than a day or two at most.

Reinstated from injured list Dickerson (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.

Impact Dickerson spent nearly two weeks at Triple-A Sacramento on a rehab assignment, and he went 6-for-11 with a home run, three doubles, four runs and two RBI across the last three games. The 31-year-old isn't guaranteed an everyday role now that he's healthy since LaMonte Wade and Austin Slater are available, but he'll rejoin the active roster after Darin Ruf (oblique) landed on the 10-day IL on Thursday. Dickerson isn't starting Thursday's game against the Padres but should be available off the bench.

Impact Dickerson is 3-for-13 through four games with Sacramento, and he'll remain there for the immediate future to keep receiving at-bats. The 31-year-old was 2-for-17 in his last seven games before picking up the hamstring injury and has a .235/.303/.426 slash line for the season.
