On bench against left-hander Dickerson isn't starting Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Impact Dickerson went 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs, a walk and a strikeout across the last two games, but he'll retreat to the bench with left-hander Caleb Smith starting for the Diamondbacks. Jaylin Davis will start in left field and bat eighth.

The 31-year-old is slashing .223/.291/.395 with seven homers, 23 RBI, 18 runs scored, a steal and an 11:41 BB:K over 172 plate appearances.

Sits against southpaw Dickerson is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Athletics, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Impact Dickerson will retreat to the bench for the third time since being activated from the injured list earlier this. He figures to be a strong candidate to start in left field Saturday against right-hander Frankie Montas, however.
JUNE 25, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Three hits in win Dickerson went 3-for-5 with a double and two strikeouts in Wednesday's 9-3 extra-innings win over the Angels.
Impact The 31-year-old outfielder was productive at the plate in his first start since he was activated from the injured list. Dickerson served as the designated hitter for 12 innings before Wilmer Flores (hamstring) pinch hit for him in the 13th. Dickerson is now slashing .237/.303/.410 with six home runs, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored, a stolen base and four doubles through 152 plate appearances. He is expected to split time with Mike Tauchman in left field going forward, although both of them are left-handed batters.

Activated from injured list Dickerson (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Impact Dickerson will wind up missing just under two weeks with an upper-back strain. Prior to suffering the injury, he wasn't coming close to the .947 OPS he produced last year, struggling to a .693 mark. He was still starting every game against righties when healthy, however, so he'll likely return to a regular role for now. LaMonte Wade Jr. was optioned in a corresponding move.

JUNE 19, 2021 • ROTOWIRE

Even if the 31-year-old is reinstated from the injured list Saturday, he could still receive some maintenance days in the near future to ease him back into action.
