Prior to undergoing surgery, Mazur was likely headed to Triple-A Jacksonville to begin the season, but the loss of the 24-year-old right-hander for the entire 2026 campaign represents a hit to the organization's rotation depth.

The 25-year-old posted a 4.80 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP across 30 big-league innings last season for Miami and hasn't allowed a run in three innings of action during spring training.
