Placed on minor-league IL Uribe was placed on the 7-day injured list Thursday at Double-A Biloxi due to right knee soreness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact It's not considered a serious injury, but the Brewers will play things cautiously with one of their top relief prospects. Uribe, 22, has registered a 1.00 ERA with 17 strikeouts through nine innings this season out of Biloxi's bullpen.

Optioned to Double-A Uribe was optioned Monday to Double-A Biloxi, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Uribe reached Double-A for two appearances in 2022, and it looks like the right-hander will begin the season in Biloxi in 2023. The right-hander was limited to just those two games because of a torn meniscus in his right knee, but he shows a fastball that can touch triple digits and swing-and-miss slider when healthy. He could be a pen option for the Brewers this summer if healthy.
