On roster, serving four-game ban Uribe won a spot on the Brewers' Opening Day roster and will serve a four-game suspension to begin the season.
Impact MLB initially suspended Uribe for six games after he intentionally threw a pitch at Rays outfielder Jose Siri in an April 30, 2024 contest. The Brewers demoted Uribe to Triple-A Nashville immediately after he received the suspension, which was later downgraded to a four-game ban following a successful appeal. However, Uribe never served the suspension after he was diagnosed in June with a lateral meniscus tear in right knee, which required season-ending surgery. After returning healthy for spring training, Uribe secured his spot in the Milwaukee bullpen, but he'll have to wait until next week to make his 2025 debut while he serves the suspension.

Ready for spring debut Uribe (knee) will make his Cactus League debut Wednesday against the White Sox, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Uribe has been brought along slowly in Brewers camp after surgery last July to repair a lateral meniscus tear. The 24-year-old has the stuff to fill a high-leverage role in the Milwaukee bullpen, but Uribe struggled during his stint in the majors last season and might go to Triple-A Nashville for a while to make up for lost time.
MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE
Going slow Uribe will go slow as he comes back from right knee surgery, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact He underwent surgery to repair a lateral miniscus tear in mid-June of 2024. This is a vague report, but it sounds like Uribe's status is questionable for Opening Day. Brewers closer Trevor Megill is dealing with an undisclosed injury, so if Uribe can get up to speed and Megill's injury lingers, Uribe could figure into the ninth-inning mix.
FEBRUARY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Darkhorse option for saves Uribe (knee) is a candidate to earn save chances after Devin Williams was traded to the Yankees on Friday, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Uribe began the 2024 season as the closer for the Brewers with Williams on the injured list, though he lost the role in mid-April and didn't appear in the majors after May 1. His primary appeal in the ninth-inning role is his velocity, as he averages over 100 mph on his fastball. However, he has a 16.6 percent walk rate in 45 career innings in the majors, leaving Trevor Megill as seemingly the top option entering 2025.
DECEMBER 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to be ready for spring Brewers general manager Matt Arnold said Thursday that Uribe (knee) is expected to be 100 percent for the start of spring training, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Uribe underwent surgery in July to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee, an injury he suffered while at Triple-A Nashville. The hard-throwing righty had a brief turn as the Brewers' closer at the beginning of the season but finished with a 6.91 ERA and 1.88 WHIP across 14.1 innings in the majors. Uribe has the stuff to be a high-leverage reliever if he can throw enough strikes.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out for rest of season Uribe underwent surgery on his right knee Wednesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Uribe's return timeline had been uncertain heading into the operation, though he's now been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 campaign and hopes to be ready for the start of spring training. The 24-year-old reliever will finish the year with a 6.91 ERA and 1.88 WHIP across 14.1 innings in the majors.
JULY 18, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Demoted to Triple-A The Brewers optioned Uribe to Triple-A Nashville after Thursday's win against the Rays, Adam McCalvy of MLB.comreports.
Impact It's been an eventful two days for Uribe, who is now headed to the minors after being handed a six-game suspension for his role in Tuesday's benches-clearing brawl versus the Rays. The right-hander appealed the ban and allowed a run on a hit and two walks over one inning Wednesday, and he now has a 6.91 ERA and 14:12 K:BB across 14.1 frames this season. The 22-year-old will likely be tasked with honing his command down at Triple-A, and the demotion will give Milwaukee some bullpen security with Freddy Peralta also facing a suspension, as Uribe won't begin serving his ban until he's back on the major-league roster.

PIcks up second win Uribe (2-1) earned the win Wednesday against the Padres after he allowed a hit and no walks in a scoreless eighth inning. He had one strikeout.
Impact The right-hander appeared set to blow a scoreless tie after giving up a leadoff triple, but he retired the next three batters on 10 pitches. Uribe entered in a non-save situation for the second straight day, while Joel Payamps closed out the ninth inning Wednesday for his second save of the campaign. Uribe and Payamps should be considered co-closers for the time being as the only Brewers relievers with any saves, besides Thyago Vieira's three-inning save.
APRIL 17, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Takes loss after blowing save Uribe (1-1) took the lose and blew the save Sunday against Baltimore. He allowed three hits and two runs over one inning without logging a strikeout.
Impact Uribe trotted out to the mound for the seventh inning with a one-run lead and gave up three consecutive singles to open the frame. With one run already plated and runners on first and third with no outs, Uribe got Adley Rutschman to ground into a double-play but the runner on third scored and gave the Orioles the lead. Uribe has blown back-to-back save chances after starting the campaign 3-for-3, falling to a 7.50 ERA over six innings. With the Brewers near the top of the National League standings, Uribe could start leaking ninth-inning work if he doesn't turn things around.

Blows save, earns win Uribe (1-0) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk in one inning Friday. He blew a save chance but picked up a win over Seattle.
Impact Uribe blew the 5-3 lead in the ninth inning but the Brewers' walkoff win in the bottom of the frame gave him his first win. The 23-year-old had converted each of his first three save attempts to begin the year before Friday's hiccup. He now owns a 6.75 ERA with a 2:2 K:BB through four innings.

Notches second save Uribe gave up a solo home run and struck out two in the ninth inning Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 7-6 win over the Mets.
Impact The 23-year-old right-hander was handed a two-run cushion when he took the mound, and he needed it after serving up Pete Alonso's first homer of the year. Uribe has gotten the first two save chances for the Brewers to begin the campaign, and Saturday's long ball was only the fifth he's allowed in his career across all levels in 101.2 innings. He's making a strong early claim to hold down the closer role until Devin Williams (back) gets healthy.
MARCH 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Secures save in season opener Uribe retired all three batters he faced in the ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-1 win over the Mets. He did not record a strikeout.
Impact The 23-year-old threw eight of his 11 pitches for a strike as he received Milwaukee's first save chance in the absence of Devin Williams (back). Trevor Megill and Joel Payamps worked the seventh and eighth innings, respectively. Uribe appears to have the leg up for closing duties to begin the season, but Megill and Payamps could still be a factor if manager Pat Murphy elects to utilize a committee approach.

Kodai Senga, Eury Pérez highlight Pitching Ninja's filthiest rookies
Earns first save of season Uribe pitched a perfect 10th inning to pick up the save in Friday's 7-6 win over the White Sox
Impact Closer Devin Williams had pitched in the ninth inning to help maintain the tie. With the Brewers taking the lead in the 10th, Uribe was called upon to close the door and he delivered with a perfect frame. Uribe has been great for the club since making his debut on July 8, allowing only two runs while striking out 14 in 13.1 innings. Continued performances like this could lead to the Brewers relying on him in higher leverage situations as Milwaukee makes their playoff push.
