Impact Kim surged up the leaderboard thanks to scores of 65-66 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. He appeared to fade out of contention after going one-over on the front nine of the final round, but he ended the day strongly with a four-under back (including back-to-back birdies on holes 16 and 17), but he was surpassed by eventual winner J.J. Spaun. It was the best finish of the season for Kim and his best performance since his T2 at the WM Phoenix Open in February of 2025. He ranked fourth in the field in San Antonio in both SG: Around-the-Green and birdies made, T7 in GIR and in the top-20 in SG: Putting and SG: Approach. Kim is in the field for The Masters next week, where he finished T27 in 2025.
