T54 at Wyndham Championship
Kim closed with a one-over 71 on Sunday at the Wyndham Championship to finish five-under and tied for 54th.
Impact
Kim lost 2.59 strokes off the tee and he made just 43' 4" of putts during Sunday's final round, but he finished the week at Sedgefield Country Club ranked 16th among the field in SG: Approach and sixth in fairway proximity. Following a T10-T8-T54 stretch from the 3M Open through the Wyndham Championship, Kim heads into the FedExCup Playoffs at 61st in the standings.

Settles for T8 at Rocket Classic
Kim posted a 12-under cumulative score at the Rocket Classic to finish tied for eighth.
Impact
Kim opened the tournament with a five-under 65 before recording back-to-back rounds of 67. On Sunday, he was near the top of the leaderboard at 14-under after going three-under on the front nine, but he couldn't make that final push and ended up dropping two shots over his last four holes, ultimately settling for a second consecutive top-10 finish (and third of the season). Kim finished the tournament T4 in scrambling and eighth in both SG: Putting and Around, though he connected on just 45 of 72 greens in regulation, which was T70 out of the 73 players who made the cut at Detroit Golf Club. Kim's recent efforts has him 59th in the FedExCup Standings, which should be enough for him to stay in the top-70 for a spot in the playoffs. He'll tee off next week at the Wyndham Championship, which will be his debut at Sedgefield Country Club.

Drops to T10 despite Friday 59
Kim posted a 17-under cumulative score at the 3M Open to finish tied with Gary Woodland and Seamus Power for 10th.
Impact
Eerily similar to Lucas Herbert's performance at The Open Championship last week, Kim's efforts at TPC Twin Cities may not have been remarkable had it not been for his outstanding performance Friday. His second round included five-straight birdies from holes three to seven and four more birdies over his last four holes, leading to a bogey-free, 12-under 59 score to make Kim just the 16th golfer in PGA Tour history to shoot a sub-60 round. That success didn't carry over into the weekend for Kim, who gained only three strokes over the next two rounds, though he went four-under over his last seven holes Sunday to secure his second top-10 of the season. It also broke his streak of missed cuts at three tournaments and moved Kim up four spots to 61st in the FedExCup Standings. He's in the field for next week's Rocket Classic, where he missed the cut in each of his first three outings at Detroit Golf Club before finishing T52 in 2024 and T26 last year.

Third-straight MC
Kim missed the cut by four strokes at The Open Championship following a two-over 72 second round.
Impact
Kim opened the tournament with a three-over 73, and he wasn't that much better Friday, resulting in his third-straight missed cut and seventh MC of the season (across 21 tournaments). Most of struggles came off the tee, as he connected on only 28.6 percent of fairways, resulting in 1.11 strokes lost. Things won't get much easier for Kim, as he's in the field for next week's 3M Open, a tournament where he's missed the cut in four of five previous outings.

MC after two bogeys on back nine
Kim missed the cut by two strokes at the Genesis Scottish Open after logging a two-over 72 in the second round.
Impact
Kim opened the tournament with a two-under 68 and was on track to make the two-under cut line after going even on the front nine of the second round. However, he carded two bogeys on the back nine and was unable to make up ground over his last three holes, making it his second-straight missed cut and sixth in 20 tournaments this season. Kim lost 2.21 strokes with his putter Friday, which ranked 134th out of the 156-man field. He'll make his fourth appearance at The Open Championship next week, where he finished T35 in his debut at the major before missing the cut in both 2023 and 2025.

Fails to make cut at John Deere
Kim missed the cut by three strokes at the John Deere Classic following a one-under 70 in the second round.
Impact
Kim opened the tournament with a one-over 72 score Thursday and was unable to make up enough ground Friday to qualify for the weekend. He lost strokes across all statistical categories across his two rounds, including 0.85 strokes with his putter. Kim has now missed the cut six times in nine outings at the John Deere Classic, all of which have come after his victory in 2018. It also broke his made cut streak at eight tournaments, with his last MC taking place in April at The Masters. Kim is in the field for next week's Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished T34 last year.

Ties for 30th in Connecticut
Kim fired a four-under 66 on Sunday at the Travelers Championship to finish 11-under and tied for 30th.
Impact
Kim played holes 11-14 at TPC River Highlands in a collective five-under-par during Sunday's final round, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 13th where he stuffed an approach shot from 227 yards to just eight feet before sinking the putt. He ultimately ended the Signature Event ranked top-25 among the field in SG: Approach and par-5 scoring average, though Kim hit only 28 of 56 total fairways in regulation. He'll be in attendance again this week at TPC Deere Run where he won the 2018 John Deere Classic by eight shots.
