Fourth at Travelers Championship Fitzpatrick posted a six-under 64 in the final round of the Travelers Championship to finish solo fourth.

Impact Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler will well ahead of the field heading into Sunday's round. Fitzpatrick made things interesting with his best score of the tournament, which included four-straight birdies from holes three to six, to finish two strokes back of Hovland and Scheffler, who will head back to the course Monday for a sudden-death playoff. Fitzpatrick led the field at TPC River Highlands in driving accuracy, connecting on 53 of 56 fairways (94.5 percent). His 26 birdies were also tied for most in the tournament, with the Englishman ranking fourth in SG: Around-the-Green, fifth in SG: Off-the-Tee and 17th in SG: Approach. Fitzpatrick won't participate in the John Deere Classic but will tee off in two weeks at the Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished T4 last year.

Impact Given how Fitzpatrick has played this year with his three wins, 22nd place is not what anyone expected, especially considering his strong start to the championship to get into the final group on Saturday. Fitzpatrick's third round was very poor and he got out of it quickly with bogeys on each of the first three holes. Sunday's round was not much more promising in much better scoring conditions. The Englishman will look to regroup at the Travelers Championship where he has a best finish of T17 in four career starts.
