Impact Griffin had been bumped to the first alternate spot, but he'll officially participate in the Rocket Classic after they expanded the field from 145 to 147 players to round out groupings. Griffin is coming off a T64 at the 3M Open where he lost 4.78 strokes with the putter.

Impact Griffin originally joined the Rocket Classic field when Maverick McNealy (undisclosed) withdrew his name early, but Griffin has been demoted back into the first alternate spot with Ben Kohles accepting a top-10 exemption following his ninth-place finish at the 3M Open.

However, he averaged just 62' 8" total feet of putts made per round in the Quad Cities.
