While he bogeyed the par-4 9th, he was able to come back with a pair of birdies at 13 and 16 to card the low round of the day. Griffin led the field in SG: Putting for the week and was able to overcome a very poor driving performance. Griffin very much needed this third place result after a trying 2025 regular season. He goes from 142nd to 100th in the FedExCup standings and is in position to earn a PGA Tour card for 2026. He needs to build on this performance at the Sanderson Farms Championship in a few weeks.
