Share of 13th at THE PLAYERS
Rose posted a six-under cumulative score at THE PLAYERS Championship to finish in a nine-way share of 13th.
Impact
Rose put together a 72-68-70-72 scorecard at TPC Sawgrass for his second top-15 finish of the season that includes his win at the Farmers Insurance Open in late January. He gained 4.2 strokes in his approach game while ranking 14th in SG: Putting, though he finished near the bottom of the field in SG: Off-the-Tee. Rose is not listed in the field for the Valspar Championship next week.

MC at API after dreadful Friday
Rose missed the cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational by four strokes after posting a 70-80 scorecard.
Impact
Rose completely fell apart during the second round Friday. He opened with back-to-back bogeys before going four-over in a three-hole stretch between four and six, finishing the front nine with a score of 42. Rose seemed to figure out Bay Hill last year with a T8, but after his performance this past weekend, the 45-year-old Englishman has missed the cut or withdrawn in six of his last seven appearances at the API. He'll look to bounce next week at THE PLAYERS Championship. Over his last five outings at TPC Sawgrass, Rose has finished in the top-10 twice (2019 and 2023) but missed the cut in his other three appearances.

Seventh in SG: Putting at Pebble
Rose closed with a two-under 70 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 11-under and tied for 37th.
Impact
Rose's final round at Pebble Beach was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 second, and he ultimately ranked seventh among the Signature Event field in SG: Putting for the week. However, he converted just 12 of 22 total scrambling opportunities while losing 1.99 strokes around the green en route to 11 bogeys across 72 holes. The recent Farmers Insurance Open champion will be in the field again this week at Riviera Country Club for The Genesis Invitational.

Sets tournament scoring record
Rose put on a clinic to win the Farmers Insurance Open by seven shots after shooting a two-under 70 in the final round.
Impact
Rose had total control of this tournament from wire-to-wire. After opening with a 10-under-par 62 on the easier North Course and then a seven-under 65 on the tough South Course, Rose pretty much put this thing to bed. Nobody all weekend got closer than four or five shots and Rose rode off to the sunset in style by setting the 72-hole scoring record at the event by one stroke at 23-under-par (265). The iron play was vintage from the 45-year-old, as he ranked second in SG: Approach and first in GIR's. Age doesn't seem to be any cause for concern with Rose right now. He nearly won The Masters last year before scoring a win in the FedExCup Playoffs. Now his 13th PGA Tour victory early in the season has to have him fired up about 2026. He will not be in the field for the WM Phoenix Open, but should return from the two Signature Events in California.
