Impact Pereira is widely known for nearly emerging victorious at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills, eventually finishing tied for third after a rough final hole. He also enjoyed plenty of success playing for LIV Golf, putting together six top-10 finishes during the 2023 season before scuffling during the 2025 campaign, ending the year in the Drop Zone.

Impact Pereira surged to contention with a bogey-free, six-under 64 final round highlighted by his ace on the par-3 second hole. He entered Championship Sunday three shots back of Peter Uihlein, Paul Casey and Sergio Garcia, but Pereira floundered on the front nine with three bogeys and just one birdie. It was a disappointing finish for Pereira, but his top-20 finish earned him his first points of the LIV Golf 2025 season. Next up is LIV Golf Singapore, where he finished fifth in 2023 and T47 in 2024.

Moving to LIV Golf in 2023 Pereira will be added to the 2023 LIV Golf roster, James Corrigan of The Telegraph reports.

Impact Pereira was a player that was rumored to make the move to the breakaway league towards the tail end of last season. He ultimately stuck around for the fall, which could have been in large part to play on the International President's Cup squad. Pereira will join his good friend and countryman Joaquin Niemann at LIV Golf. The final LIV Golf schedule has yet to be revealed, but it is expected to include 14 events and begin Feb. 24-26 at El Camaleon Club in Mexico. Pereira will be eligible for all of the 2023 majors after his T3 finish at the PGA Championship last May.
