Leads in SG: Approach in Canada Grillo closed with a final round five-under 65 at the RBC Canadian Open to finish tied for 24th place.

Impact Grillo saved his best for the final round, and it could've been an even better showing had he not played the final three holes in three-over. He was dialed in with his irons as he hit 85 percent of greens in regulation and led the field for the week in SG: Approach. Grillo is still in search of his first top-10 of the year but does have three consecutive top-25 finishes.

Impact Grillo will not play in the Genesis Invitational and will instead take a break before his next tournament appearance. The 32-year-old Argentinian is coming off a 76th place finish at the WM Phoenix Open after a pair of missed cuts to start the year at The American Express and the Sony Open as well as a withdrawal at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Bumped from Pebble field Grillo has been knocked down to first alternate for the upcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.

Impact Grillo was in the field, but after Keith Mitchell qualified, he no longer needed a sponsors exemption. That exemption then went to Harry Hall, who was bumped out of the Aon Swing 5 last week. Grillo could still get into the second Signature Event of the season if someone were to WD. He has missed the cut in both starts in 2025.
