Solo second at LIV Golf UK Watson fired a six-under 65 in the final round at LIV Golf UK to finish solo second. Impact Watson started the tournament nicely with a five-under opening round and was second on the leaderboard after Saturday, though he was down six strokes to Joaquin Niemann and admitted that "second place...looks like a good place to finish." Niemann led by as many as eight strokes during the final round, but Watson managed to cut that deficit to two after going eight-under from holes nine to 14, though he wasn't able to carry that momentum over the final stretch. Regardless, it was Watson's best finish of his LIV Golf career, and his performance in 2025 is in start contrast to 2024, when he faced relegation. The RangeGoats captain will be in the field for LIV Golf Chicago in two weeks, where he finished T42 in 2024.
