Strong putting game at The Masters Watson carded a four-under 68 in the final round at The Masters Tournament to finish tied for 14th.

Impact Watson managed to make it to the weekend after missing the cut at Augusta National in each of the last two years. He bounced back from a poor third round to card his best score of the tournament Sunday, tallying five birdies to just one bogey. Watson hasn't been known for his putting on the LIV Golf tour this season, but he ended up leading the field at Augusta in SG: Putting and ranked T15 in SG: Total. Next up for the RangeGoats GC captain is LIV Golf Mexico City starting April 25.

The RangeGoats GC captain started the 2025 LIV Golf season strong with finishes of T12 and T21 in Riyadh and Adelaide, respectively, but he has finished T30 or worse over his last three outings. Watson is in the field for The Masters at Augusta National, which he has won twice (2012, 2014) but has failed to make the cut in the last two years.

Impact Watson has failed to finish better than T30 over the last two LIV Golf tournaments after starting the year with finishes of T12-T21. Through the first four LIV Golf events, Watson ranks 12th in driving distance (304.7 yards), T18 in birdies made (49) and T21 in both driving accuracy (62.50 percent) and GIR (70.83 percent), though he ranks 44th in putts per hole (1.66) and T50 in scrambling opportunities (52.38 percent). The RangeGoats GC captain will look to round into shape at LIV Golf Miami this weekend, which will serve as preparation for The Masters at Augusta National on April 10, which Watson won twice (2012, 2014).
