Eli Heidenreich - Two touchdowns in win Heidenreich posted nine rushes for 70 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 6 of 7 targets for 65 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-7 victory over Virginia Military.

Impact Heidenreich had an impressive start to his senior season, recording a touchdown on the ground and in the air. It is the first time in his career that he has accomplished that feat, and only the third time in his career that he has recorded at least nine carries.

Braxton Woodson - Two rushing touchdowns in opener Woodson was 3-for-7 passing for 26 yards during Saturday's 52-7 win against Virginia Military. He also had seven rushes for 180 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Woodson made the most of his opportunity Saturday, setting a career high in rushing yards. His performance was highlighted by a 74-yard touchdown run at the start of the third quarter, and the Midshipmen now know they have a very capable backup in case anything happens to Blake Horvath.

Impact After having over 1200 passing and rushing yards in 2024, Horvath was accurate in Saturday's season opener, but only played in the first half. He is likely to show a lot more of his dual-threat ability next week for the Midshipmen's first conference game against UAB.

Impact Coming off an eight-touchdown season in 2024, Tecza picked up right where he left off in Saturday's win. The senior now has touchdowns in his last two games dating back to the Armed Forces Bowl last year, and also tied a season-high in carries from 2024 with 15.
