Impact Warren remained the focal point of this passing attack, but the tight end was held out of the end zone and his 84 yards weren't enough to lift Penn State to victory. This time, he had to step up in extremely crucial moments to help eek out a win, especially on his 11-yard catch on an out of structure play that secured this win for Penn State. Warren's lack of impact as a rusher was a departure from his previous three outings. But, this marks his third game in a row with eight catches, and he's now tallied double-digit targets and/or over 100 receiving yards in all three of these contests too. Warren has now accrued 75 catches for 910 yards and 18 carries for another 157 yards while totaling 10 touchdowns (including one passing touchdown this year). He'll look to surpass 1,000 receiving yards this season during next week's regular-season finale against Maryland.

He also ran through and around multiple defenders on a 33-yard reception that set up Penn State for a 1st & goal late in the fourth quarter. But, the team failed to push the ball into the endzone, including on a 4th & goal passing attempt that ended in an incompletion for quarterback Drew Allar. Warren has easily been the most crucial offensive skill player for Penn State this season. He should continue to do so in next week's home game versus Washington.

Impact Warren followed up his record-tying performance Week 7 with yet another versatile, do-it-all outing versus Wisconsin. The 6-foot-6 senior logged two rushes while lined up as a wildcat quarterback on the goal line, but he was ultimately held out of the end zone for just the second time this season. Warren also essentially served as a rusher on multiple shovel passes in short-yardage situations. While Warren has necessarily stretched the field on a regular basis this season, he's been extremely sure-handed with 47 catches on 56 targets for 559 yards. Warren's unique role should continue to make him one of the most productive tight ends in Power-4 football moving forward.
